Oak Glen

We went to Oak Glen today. We got things like: Tri Tip Sandwiches, Carmel Apples, Cinnamon Doughnuts, Fudge and Pumpkins. It was truly lovely. AND we took pictures. of course. 

  

   

And, at the end of it all... i gave lauren a wheel barrow ride. What a blast.

NEW MEXICO - BALLOON FIESTA 2008 Its been a while since i have posted on here... how sad. so, to catch up - im going to blast this one. :)
As you can see above, I went to New Mexico for the Balloon Fiesta. This is a picture of one of the first few civilian balloons going up just after the sun was rising.

This is a view of the ground from up in the balloon.

This blue balloon is the one that Lindsey and I got to go up in... it's a two sided/headed buffalo, endearingly known as "the buff" - so basically - i went up in the buff... :) it was a whole lot of fun.

Then, Lindsey and her Mom took me to old town and after this picture a random old guy 

took a picture of the three of us after claiming to be the mayor...

there were so many balloons. it was crazy.

Going back to good ol' cbu

so, im leaving on sunday morning. MORNING morning, like, 5 am morning.

isnt that just absurd? i thought so too.

but, im super excited to get back, via packing up baby porsche and hitting the road.
hopefully leaving early enough will spare me from some of the heat. i have high high hopes about that.

Soooo... i went to Rwanda!

For those of you who don't know, Kyle was my FOCUS partner, ie. we worked together and were in charge of new freshman students coming to CBU.

and Jacob, was Lindseys partner.

Kyle and Jacob, are BFF&E.

its true.we hang out a lot. and call eachother family. we basically have a blast. right?

We go to Kyles races.

Kyle has trouble reaching his toes. its funny. They stole lots of things from our apartment. and we just redecorated.

anyway. they are good friends to apartment 328. they are our family. and we love them dearly.

IT'S OFFICIAL:

I'm Home Home Home - for the summer.

Yesterday: started summer school. blah.

how about drawing for 5 hours a day for 4 days a week? talk about a lot of drawing and then after drawing all day, he made us blitz through the drawings that we are actually doing to turn in. sad. I'm not a very good draw-er. ]

so sad.

In response to you Jacob, I have not written about you and kyle YET because I'm going to make you your very own special blog. filled with pictures that I'm sure you will just L O V E :) happy now?

home is grrrreeaaat.
and i just turned 21 on Friday. yep. and you know where i was? Disneyland. sorry to give it away to those of you who were guessing.

21 without a drop of alcohol. Honestly, I'm glad. AND I'm glad I was on contract just so i wouldn't even have to say anything - just well, I'm also on contract. It was great. So, it was a good birthday AND I got some sweet really really really nice markers for my birfday. The kind Chip Foose uses (the guy from Overhaulin'). So I'll probably be markin' things up like crazy now.

So, ya :) Life is great. Kyle graduated... weird. Ryan and Steph and Andy came down for it. That was absolutely wonderful.

I feel like this is really scattered, but that's how I'm processing right now so... I hope that's OK. If it's not, sadly to say, I don't really care....

Until the next blog which i have promised Jacob that it will be about Kyle and him...

Nephew Time

ummm... how about the fact that my nephew, Andrew - Andy - Roo - Roo Bear ... is so stinkin' cute.

And my brother is pretty great too :)
